Demote inactive users

Support Support: The proposal was supported.

Users with rights (excluding bureaucrats) who have not edited the wiki, entered the chat, or logged into their account in over 365 days and show no desire to keep their work ethic above par should be eligible for demotion at an administrator's discretion. In this case, no proper demotion request would have to be submitted and voted on.

Doing this would allow active staff members to rise to their best potential and avoid any confusion for other users. It will eliminate an influx of staff if/when inactive members return.

This does not automatically mean all users who meet the above credentials will be demoted. Individual users will be looked at thoroughly and a decision will be made as an administrative team.

P.S. I know there's no point in signing anymore but my signature looks nice so I did anyway.

Support Support: There are users from like 5 years ago who never log on, I don't see why they're still admin. BlueeCookie (talk) 17:41, October 8, 2016 (UTC)

Comment Comment: I agree that users that who "show no desire to keep their work ethic above par should be eligible for demotion at an administrator's discretion," should be demoted. However only a year of inactivity seems too short. I suggest 3-5 years of inactivity instead of just one.
