― Étoile, New Leaf

Étoile Gallery

Étoile (エトワール Etowāru?) is a normal sheep villager who debuted in New Leaf as part of the Welcome Amiibo update. She lives in a mobile home, but can be asked to move into your town. Her amiibo card is part of the Sanrio Amiibo card pack. Her name is the French word for "star". This is likely a reference to her respective Sanrio theme, Little Twin Stars.

Along with Cece, Chai, Chelsea, Epona, Felyne, Ganon, Inkwell, Marty, Medli, Rilla, Toby, Viché, and Wolf Link, Étoile is unable to be adopted while moving out of a town.

She has the music hobby[1].

Étoile returned to New Horizons, as part of the Version 1.9.0 update on March 18th, 2021. By scanning amiibo cards, this villager can be met via the campsite and invited to the island.

Her appearance is based off of the Sanrio characters Kiki and Lala from the Little Twin Stars series.[2] She is mainly pink with purple wool, which has small flecks of yellow and pink. Her hooves are a darker pink. Her name, Étoile, means "pattern in the shape of a star". Her horns are yellow, and she wears a yellow headband with a pink and a blue star. Like all sheep (prior to New Horizons), she wears a scarf with the pattern of an in-game shirt, with her original top being the Kiki and Lala outfit. As of New Horizons, she wears the shirt normally.
