Animal Crossing (2019) (working title) is a life simulation video game developed by Nintendo. It was announced on September 13th, 2018, during a Nintendo Direct. It will be released in 2019. According to GAME UK, the new installment will have a "whole new adventure." It will be the next mainline game in the Animal Crossing series after New Leaf. [1]

No gameplay was shown and no other information regarding the game, such as its story or mechanics, were mentioned. Alongside this was the announcement that Isabelle will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with moves based on Animal Crossing actions.
