New Horizons (working title) is a life simulation video game developed by Nintendo. It was announced on September 13th, 2018, during a Nintendo Direct. It will be released in 2019. According to GAME UK, the new installment will have a "whole new adventure." It will be the next game in the Animal Crossing series after New Leaf.

No gameplay was shown and no other information regarding the game, such as its story or mechanics, were mentioned. Alongside this was the announcement that Isabelle will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with moves based on Animal Crossing actions.
