- The past week has been pretty hectic around here, users had heated debates over what should have been a fairly simple, and quite frankly, minor issue. This ultimately resulted in Larsenv's apparent 'leaving' of the wiki. He later rejoined chat with threats and inappropriate, childish behavior. A demotion was proposed, in which Larsenv would have his admin rights removed and continue editing as a standard user. However, there were no active bureaucrats at the time, meaning Larsenv had to remove his own user rights, something he didn't do willingly. Out of utter confusion and in defense of Larsenv, Chuzzlecheese argued with users and broke multiple rules, including sockpuppetry. Larsenv then gaveChuzzlecheese chat moderator rights, making the situation all the more difficult. In the end, both users had their rights removed and Chuzzlecheese banned from chat.
Although NintendoLover's mainspace edit count leaves much to be desired (although so does mine), he is on the wiki on a regular basis, by contributing to community discussions through message walls or through chat. The latter is the source of most of Animal Crossing City's problems at present. In instances such as the one I mentioned above, NintendoLover has always acted logically, something that I find is becoming increasingly uncommon among users here and across Wikia as a whole. Something he should be commended on was his ability to cope with the insults and immature behavior present on that particular occasion, things that could easily be considered blockworthy.
In conclusion, I believe that NintendoLover deserves these user rights because he knows how to use the tools effectively and fairly. Several other admins are worthy of these rights too, but NintendoLover has the most experience of these users and was the only admin online when I suggested the promotion. XD

I believe I am somewhat experienced with sysop tools, probably not as experienced as some of the other users here but I have a fairly good understanding of wikitext and know a bit of css.
I also live in Australia, which means that I am usually online much later than most other users here (or much earlier depending on how you see it), but I will still respond to questions and vandalism fairly quickly. With my Christmas holidays coming closer, I will be able to dedicate more time to editing on Animal Crossing Wiki

Oppose: yeah I have to agree with Kieran here, the real problem with the mods/users ratio is to do with the relative lack of US/Canada-based chatmods. I'm thinking we demote people who haven't been on chat in the last two weeks, then open up the Chat Mod category for only North America-based users. I agree that Kelley would make a good mod, there's just the issue of timezone (she's in Japan iirc, so she's working on like UTC+8 or something like that). Out of all the people I can think of, RadarMatt would probably make the best chatmod. Moreover Alex's vote is dubious in whether or not it counts because (a) he's currently banned from chat (b) he didn't give a valid reason. Moving forward the last time Kieran was seen to abuse his powers was in June/July last year, and that was, in fact, a long time ago.
