― Antonio, City Folk
Antonio (マコト, Makoto?) is a jock anteater villager from the Animal Crossing series. He is currently the only jock anteater in the series, and the second male anteater after Cyrano. His name could be a reference to the first three letters being "Ant", referencing the insects anteaters eat. His catchphrase could be a reference to his nose. He has the fitness hobby.
Appearance[]
Antonio is a dark gray anteater, with a cream colored snout and beady black eyes. His tail is fluffy, gray, black, and white. The back of his head, and his ears, are a darker color than the rest of his head. He initially wears a big star shirt, which was changed to the bone tee in New Horizons.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here. |
Antonio has a jock personality and has a great interest in sports and bodybuilding. Jock villagers are hyperactive and motivated, but often come across as self-centered and dense. As a jock villager, Antonio is very interested in his hobby, and may compete against the player at catching bugs and fish. Jock villagers get along with peppy, cranky, and sisterly villagers, but conflict with the laid-back lifestyle of lazy villagers. Snooty villagers may also be difficult to get along with for Antonio.
House[]
In Animal Forest e+, Antonio has the same house as Bertha does, with the difference being the lattice wall and the cabana flooring. K.K. Faire is played on a gold stereo. There is many furniture from the modern series, including a modern bed and a modern table as well as a plant and a bass.
In Wild World and City Folk, Antonio's house has the beach set. He has a lawn chair, a red boom box that plays K.K. Faire, a bathtub, a fridge, a life ring, a tea set, a picnic table, a clothesline, and a beach chair. He also has the tropical vista wallpaper and tropical floor, which belong to the beach set.
In New Horizons, Antonio's house is white with a beige wooden door and a black stone roof. The interior has the starry wall and the pine-board flooring. He has a blue wooden simple bed, chest, end table, and chair. He also has a lightwood wooden bookshelf, a stack of books, a puzzle, and a white throwback skull radio that plays K.K. Ragtime. When Antonio crafts a recipe, he uses a blue mini DIY workbench.
