Apple (アップル, Appuru?, Apple) is a peppy hamster villager in the Animal Crossing series who debuted in New Leaf. Her name comes from her red fur. Her catchphrase is a reference to the term "apple-cheeked", which is used to describe someone with round, rosy cheeks, which Apple has. It may also refer to the cheeks of a hamster, which are able to store large amounts of food at one time.
She is featured on the cover of K.K. Gumbo, and she has the play hobby.
Appearance[]
Apple's body is primarily light red. Her ears, paws, and cheeks are all a darker shade of red, and she also has a red stripe down her forehead and red eyelashes. The insides of Apple's ears are green, and she has a cream-colored belly. Her eyes are big and shiny. In New Horizons, her eyes have subtle dark purple-colored irises, while her irises are fully black in New Leaf. She initially wears a white marble-dots tee (previously known as the lite-polka tee) and carries the candy umbrella on rainy days. In New Horizons, she carries the Toad parasol.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here. |
Peppy villagers appear to be in a good mood often and are easy to become friends with. As a peppy villager, Apple will have the tendency to over-react in conversations about trivial subjects, and will usually be over-excited to see the player or other villagers. This villager, like other peppy villagers, will rarely be discouraged from doing anything, including the usual hobbies. Peppy villagers dream of becoming famous in the future and read Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty, normal, and other peppy villagers in the Animal Crossing series. Peppy villagers will also have a very short attention span, which means they soon forget some arguments or tasks given to the player which weren't completed. Apple may easily get upset in conversation when the wrong things are said. She will get along well with other villagers, particularly lazy, normal, jock, sisterly, and other peppy villagers, but she may annoy and upset cranky and snooty villagers, whose personalities differ to hers. Due to the nature of peppy villagers, she may mention how "old" or "boring" cranky villagers are compared to her opposing, upbeat personality.
House[]
In New Leaf, Apple's house has some items from the polka-dot series in it, as well as a bit of the lovely series. She has two poinsettias near her door, and the apple clock and apple TV. She has a red boombox playing I Love You, and the neutral wall and plush carpet.
In New Horizons, Apple's exterior is pink with a brown basic door and red tile roof. The interior has the apple wall and the apple rug on the simple white flooring. She has a red apple TV and a red apple chair. She also has a paisley cushion, a red gas range, a red mini-fridge, and a red dish-drying rack. Additionally, she has a pink wooden low table, chest, and a white wooden waste bin. On the wall hangs a red cute wall-mounted clock. When Apple crafts a recipe, she uses a pink mini DIY workbench.
