Barrel is a craftable houseware item in New Horizons. Items can be put on it. It has no variations and cannot be customized. The DIY recipe can be obtained from Tom Nook after receiving the first three housing kits, 50% chance. The recipe can also be obtained from a cranky island resident or a message in a bottle. The barrel requires 5 pieces of wood and 2 iron nuggets to craft.
