― Picture quote, New Horizons

Bonbon (ミミィ Mimī?) is a peppy rabbit villager who appears in New Leaf, Happy Home Designer, and New Horizons. Her name means "candy" in French and her Japanese name comes from the Japanese word for "ear", mimi (as a pun), due to the rabbit's long, comical ears. Her name in Spanish is a mix between Spanish "chocolate" and Catalan/Valencian "xocolat". She appears on the album cover for Aloha K.K.

She has the play hobby.

Bonbon in New Leaf

Bonbon is a brown rabbit with blonde bangs. Her paws are light pink and the tips of her feet are dark-brown, resembling strappy sandals. She wears pink eye shadow and pink blush. She has side-eyes and a smirk. In New Leaf, she wears a chocomint tee; in New Horizons, she wears a mint sleeveless tunic.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.

Peppy villagers appear to be in a good mood often and are easy to become friends with. As a peppy villager, Bonbon will have the tendency to over-react in conversations about trivial subjects, and will usually be over-excited to see the player or other villagers. This villager, like other peppy villagers, will rarely be discouraged from doing anything, including the usual hobbies. Peppy villagers dream of becoming famous in the future and read Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty, normal, and other peppy villagers in the Animal Crossing series. Peppy villagers will also have a very short attention span, which means they soon forget some arguments or tasks given to the player which weren't completed. Bonbon may easily get upset in conversation when the wrong things are said. She will get along well with other villagers, particularly lazy, normal, jock, sisterly, and other peppy villagers, but she may annoy and upset cranky and snooty villagers, whose personalities differ to hers. Due to the nature of peppy villagers, she may mention how "old" or "boring" cranky villagers are compared to her opposing, upbeat personality.

House[]

In New Leaf, the majority of the furniture in Bonbon's house comes from the modern wood series. She uses the sofa, stool, bed, wardrobe, and matching wallpaper. In the center of the room is a patchwork table, with a patchwork lamp to the right of it. To the left of the table is a coconut palm. She has the sleek carpet on the floor. She owns a dice stereo which plays K.K. Disco.

In New Horizons, the exterior of her house is beige with brown log trim along with a tan brick roof. The interior consists of a yellow heart wallpaper and white planked flooring. She has the cute set in yellow which includes a sofa, lamp, clock, end table, cute music player (playing Bubblegum K.K.), vanity, chair, heart shaped rug and wardrobe in all shades of yellow. Her workbench is light yellow with a red lamp and heart decals.
