“Words to live by: Don't ever wimp out!”
― Picture quote, Wild World
Boone (まんたろう,Mantarō?) is a jockgorillavillager in the Animal Crossing series. His name could be a reference to the word and species "baboon", as well as a reference towards something many jocks say when showing off their muscles, referencing towards his personality type. He has the fitness hobby.
Boone is a brown gorilla with blue cheeks and a red face, giving him the appearance and likeness of a Mandrill, which is actually a species of monkey native to Africa. His name and initial catchphrase are references to Baboons, although baboons are a species of monkey. Boone's hands are gray and he has a white stomach. His initial clothing is the Indian shirt. In New Horizons, his initial shirt is changed to a cycling shirt.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the jock personality. For more information, click here.
Boone has a jock personality and has a great interest in sports and bodybuilding. Jock villagers are hyperactive and motivated, but often come across as self-centered and dense. As a jock villager, Boone is very interested in his hobby, and may compete against the player at catching bugs and fish. Jock villagers get along with peppy, cranky, and sisterly villagers, but conflict with the laid-back lifestyle of lazy villagers. Snooty villagers may also be difficult to get along with for Boone.
House[]
Boone's house consists of furniture from the western theme and other random pieces of furniture, such as two cacti and a trash can. He listens to K.K. Western.
Boone was added to Pocket Camp in the July 15, 2018 update.
Boone's preferred theme is rustic, and he primarily gives steel as a reward. His profile reads:
❝ People think Boone's all about muscles and protein shakes, but there's nothing he loves more than watching a lovely sunset...while drinking a protein shake.❞
