I think I'll eat dinner before I go stake out a spot. I'll probably eat dinner again after it's over.
― Bow, Animal Forest e+

Bow (バウ Bau?) is a lazy dog villager from the Animal Crossing series, only appearing in Animal Forest e+. He could only move into a village if the player has his e-reader card. It is possible that Bow's name comes from "Bow-wow", a sound that dogs are considered to make in popular culture. He is very similar in name and appearance to Meow.

Appearance

Bow is a yellow dog with brown ears and a green face. The tips of his paws are white and brown and his stomach is white. The clothing Bow originally sports is the Houndstooth Knit. Him and Meow are based on the Bowlingual and Meowlingual devices. Bow, Meow, Sprocket and Ribbot are all robot villagers. Sprocket and Ribbot are more similar to the general pop culture depiction of robots, with obvious mechanical parts and visible screws. Meow and Bow instead have faces designed to resemble monochrome LCD screens, with the outside of their faces both having a button or logo placed on their forehead.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

Bow is a lazy villager, which means he will enjoy sleeping and eating. He will often conflict with jock villagers, due to not exercising and will often argue with snooty villagers as snooty villagers become irritated because he doesn't care about his appearance.

House

Bow's house is the same as Bones's, another dog villager with the same personality, with the difference being the old brick wallpaper and classroom flooring. He also has K.K. Jazz playing on a stereo if he has one.

Trivia

Bow shares his name with another anthropomorphic dog from the Breath of Fire RPG series. Though that Bow's name while likely having the same origin, it is a double meaning as his class is an archer.
