In New Horizons[]
In New Horizons, upon donation or selecting "Tell me more about this!", Blathers will say:
"Brachiosaurus, whose name means 'arm lizard'—eh, wot—was one of the largest herbivorous dinosaurs. Due to its long front legs and elongated neck, it seems to have specialized in eating plants up high. Alas, in order to support its large size, it likely needed to eat more or less every waking hour. What a ferocious forager it must have been indeed!"
The brachiosaurus can be found in the center of the dinosaur room in the fossil exhibit, alongside the diplodocus.

Reconstruction of Brachiosaurus altithorax
- Main article: Brachiosaurus on Wikipedia
Brachiosaurus altithorax was a species of sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic, about 154-153 million years ago, across modern-day North America. Brachiosaurus weighed anywhere from 28.3 to 58 metric tons (31.2 and 64 short tons) and may have been as long as 18-21 meters (59-69 feet). Its height is debated because it held its neck at an incline instead of perfectly vertical, but it likely grazed on foliage around 16 feet off the ground and may have been able to reach heights of up to 30 feet.
