I'm always thinking about the connection between weather and food, eat it.
― Broccolo, New Leaf

Broccolo (ブロッコリー, Burokkorī?, Broccoli) is a lazy mouse villager from the Animal Crossing series. He originally appeared in Animal Forest e+. He was absent from Wild World and re-appeared in City Folk. His name and catchphrase, "eat it", are possible references to broccoli, a vegetable that children stereotypically hate.

He has the play hobby.

Appearance[]

Broccolo

Broccolo in City Folk

Broccolo is a blue mouse with straight brown hair and large ears with pink inside of them. He initially wears a kiddie shirt, which was changed to the raglan shirt in New Horizons. His eyes are simple black dots, but whenever he gets shocked or surprised, his eyes become yellow.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Broccolo will be friendly and easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he has a love of food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, like when fishing. Broccolo will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a lifestyle of exercise and fitness, which conflicts with the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics, or superheroes. He will also get along well with normal, peppy, smug, and sisterly villagers, and occasionally cranky villagers, but may from time to time annoy snooty villagers, who disagree with the lazy lifestyle.

House[]

In Animal Forest e+, Broccolo has the same house as Bob, only with the playroom rug and the playroom wall.

In City Folk, his house still possesses some of the "kiddie" atmosphere. He has a tall gongoid and a dice stereo that plays K.K. Ragtime.

In New Leaf, Broccolo retains the playroom rug from previous games but switches from the playroom wall to the citrus wall. He owns the pear set (dresser and wardrobe), a juicy-apple TV, kiddie couch, tennis table, pineapple bed, cradle, Baby bear, backyard pool, and caladium. Instead of the dice stereo, he has a kiddie stereo that plays the same song as before.

In New Horizons, he has the blue playroom wall, the pastel puzzle flooring, and the blue dotted rug in the corner of his room. He has the wooden simple bed and the wooden-block bench, stool, chest, and wall clock. He has a painting set on his wooden low table with a Mom's cushion in front of it. He also has an elephant slide, Mom's plushie, toy box, and a cute music player that plays I Love You.

Pocket Camp[]

Broccolo was added to Pocket Camp in the March 24, 2018 update.

Broccolo's preferred theme is hip, and he primarily gives cotton as a reward. His profile reads:

❝ His latest idea is to use a 3D printer to make giant blocks and build a house out of them. We can't help but wonder what Tom Nook would have to say to that.❞
