Sometimes I like to sneak out here late at night and gaze up at the sky.
― Broffina, New Leaf.

Broffina (カサンドラ, Kasandora?, Cassandra) is a snooty chicken villager in the Animal Crossing series. Her initial catchphrase refers to the sound chickens make. Her name may be a reference to chicken broff due to her species.

She is featured on the cover of K.K. Moody, and she has the music hobby.

Appearance[]

Broffina is a rust-colored hen, similar in appearance to a Rhode Island Red. She wears pink eyeshadow, red blush, mascara, and has red lipstick on the tip of her yellow beak. The base of her wings and tail are a darker rust color, and from there go to a lighter orange, and then black at the tips. Her legs are black. The bottom of her head fades into a mustard-like color. She initially wears the fiendish shirt (rumba dress in New Horizons). Her rainwear consists of a long red coat and a brimmed red hat, an outfit which, combined with her black legs, is surprisingly similar to Carmen Sandiego. Considering her Japanese name Casandra, the resemblance may be intentional.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.

Broffina has a snooty personality, which means she loves makeup and gossiping. As a snooty villager, Broffina will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. She also speaks about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, and other snooty villagers. She will soon warm up to the player, confiding in them about their own feelings but still keeping subtly rude. Broffina will not get along with lazy villagers due to them not caring about their appearance or the lazy villagers hating what she eats, and she won't get along with jock villagers because they will question her on her physical appearance and they won't worry about fashion. However, she will get along with cranky villagers due to their similar rude personalities, and usually normal villagers as well.

House[]

In New Leaf, Broffina's house has a mix of many different items inside of it. She has one item from the Gracie brand gorgeous series, being the bed. She also has two rococo items, the shelf and the dresser, the latter of which she displays a gerbera on top of. Broffina also has a few instruments, such as the harp, a flame tee, and a retro stereo that plays K.K. Flamenco. Her wallpaper is the sleek wall, and her flooring is the plush carpet.

In New Horizons, the exterior is light and dark brown, has a black door and a deep red roof. The interior consists of a purple and pink diamond wall and brown wooded flooring. She has a mini table with a phonograph on top, a grandfather clock, a rose bed, upright piano, wood-burning stove, fan palm, black whirlpool bath, brown antique table, wall-mounted TV (50 in.) and floral swag on the side of the wall. Her workbench is light brown.
