Camofrog (フルメタル,Furumetaru?, Full Metal) is a frogvillager with the cranky personality who has appeared in all Animal Crossing series games so far. His Japanese name, Full Metal, either derives from the war drama film Full Metal Jacket or from full metal jacket ammunition, after which the former was named. His North American name relates to his appearance - a camouflaged frog. His initial phrase, "ten-hut", also relates to his appearance - an army term meaning "Come to attention", as camouflage is frequently used in the army. His Wild World picture quote comes from his camouflaged appearance. He has the music hobby.
Camofrog is, as his name suggests, a camouflaged frog using the common camouflage - a mixture of green, brown, and beige. He initially wears the MVP shirt, which bears no relation to his camouflaged/army appearance.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.
Cranky villagers will usually appear in a grouchy or agitated mood. When talking to the player, cranky villagers tend to become angry if the player disagrees with them or refuses to do a favor. Like all cranky villagers, Camofrog will be invested in his hobby and will often challenge the player to various competitions. He will easily get along with jock, snooty, and other cranky villagers, and occasionally lazy and normal villagers as well. However, he will find it hard to socialize with peppy villagers, as they will seem overstimulated or immature.
House[]
In Wild World and City Folk, Camofrog's house has a gymnasium theme containing items from the boxing theme which could perhaps relate to the boxing ring mat, since "You can't see me" is wrestler John Cena's catchphrase. The flooring is the boxing ring mat, and the wall is the ringside seating. He also has a backyard pool and the blue bench. He has K.K. Rock playing in his house if he has a stereo. He has one gargloid.
In New Horizons, Camofrog's house resembles a jungle. His camo flooring and camouflage-style camping cot mimic Camofrog's appearance.
Camofrog was added to Pocket Camp in the May 11, 2022 update.
Camofrog's preferred theme is cool, and he primarily gives steel as a reward. His profile reads:
❝ As he's emerged unscathed from countless scuffles, Camofrog's clearly got a talent for stealth. One time, when playing hide- and-seek, he went missing for days.❞

Camofrog has fond memories of the covert missions of his past. Unfortunately, no one is sure all his missions were classified, but most people just think they were classified "total fantasy."
