“Oh! Good morning! What could you want from me so early in the morning, urgh?”
― Charlise, Animal Forest e+
“Hmm. Where did I put that thing...?”Charlise (チャーミー, Chāmī?) is a bear villager in the Animal Crossing series. She first appeared in Animal Forest e+ where she had a peppy personality but returned in New Leaf, and later New Horizons, as a sisterly villager. Her Japanese name derives from the French/Portuguese word "charme", which translates to the word charm. She has the same catchphrase as Teddy in Animal Forest e+. She has the fitness hobby.
― Charlise, New Leaf
Charlise is a bright-green bear with brown bangs. Prior to New Horizons, she was a darker-shade of green. Her cheeks and the insides of her ears are bright-yellow, while her muzzle and the tips of her paws are a lighter, more pastel yellow. She has a relaxed expression with droopy eyes and dark pink eyelids. In Animal Forest e+, she wears the Red Aloha Shirt, like all female islanders, but in New Leaf onwards, she wears the Red Warmup Suit.
PersonalityCharlise personality changes from a peppy islander in Animal Forest e+ to a sisterly villager in New Leaf.

Charlise will treat the player with respect and will even offer to fight off anyone giving the player trouble. Charlise may get along with jock villagers who share her love of sports, lazy villagers for how laid-back they are, and peppy villagers. However, she may conflict with snooty and cranky villagers, who spread rumors about others, and she may have trouble getting along with normal villagers.
In New Leaf, Charlise has a house that somewhat resembles a school gym. She has a basketball hoop and a ball catcher, as well as a hurdle, and a scoreboard. She also has two cones in her house, and plays Mr. K.K. on her Cassette Player.
In New Horizons, Charlise's house resembles an outdoor track with various types of sport equipment. In the top-left of her house, theres a basketball hoop with a ball (basketball variant), exercise ball, and ball (volleyball variant). On the left side of her house, theres an outdoor table with a mug and handy water cooler on it, a camping cot, and an outdoor bench with a tape deck that plays Mr. K.K.. For wallpaper, she uses the Tree-Lined Wall, and for flooring, she uses the Racetrack Flooring.
