The Pink Tree Model
Your town undergoes an incredible change during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Regardless of whether or not you have planted cherry trees in your town, all decidious trees will burst into pink bloom. All your villagers become very excited about this sudden transformation and if you visit the mayor, he will explain more about the festival and its meaning to the town. At the end of his explanation, Tortimer will give you the Pink Tree Model.
In Wild World and City Folk
In subsequent games, the event is not specifically celebrated, but your non-fruit and non-evergreen trees' leaves will be replaced with pink cherry blossom petals, and will continue to be so through the duration of the Flower Fest.
