The classic painting is a painting that can be bought in the Animal Crossing series. In City Folk, it can be bought from Tom Nook's store for 1,960 Bells. The Classic Painting is a copy of Emanuel Leutze's Washington Crossing the Delaware, painted in 1851.
The painting depicts part of a surprise attack against Hessian forces during the American Revolutionary War. Washington Crossing the Delaware is currently on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
