Once a week special characters will visit islands to sell items for a higher price and also create collectables if you give them 3 of the same item. They will then create a collectable overnight that is sent to your mailbox by morning. Some of these items will sell for high amounts of bells depending on the rarity of the items provided. Please note that this can only be done once each time you see them so choose your item carefully before proceeding to get collectable made.
