Daisy (バニラ, Banira?, Vanilla) is a normal dog villager from the Animal Crossing series. She has appeared in every game so far. Her catchphrase, "bow-WOW", is the noise that dogs make, with an emphasis on "WOW" to indicate interest. Her initial phrase is also similar to the cat villager Tabby's, "me-WOW". Her name, while being a common name for female dogs, may also be a reference to the fact that she is similar in color to a daisy. Her Japanese name could reference her fur color, which similar to vanilla. She has the education hobby.

She appears on the cover of K.K. Lullaby and Steep Hill.

Daisy in Animal Crossing

Daisy is a light custard-yellow dog. She has a shiny black nose and rectangular black eyes. Her round eyebrows, the tips of her ears, tail, and paws are a light bluish-purple color, which was present in older games but has become more noticeable in New Horizons. Daisy also has a lighter white muzzle and a short tail of the same color. She is sometimes compared to the Great Pyrenees, the Korean Jindo dog, or the Labrador Retriever. She initially wears the kiddie tee.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the normal personality. For more information, click here.

Daisy has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along well with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and other normal villagers. Daisy may conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers. As a normal villager, Daisy will usually wake up at 6:00 am and is easier to befriend than most. Both normal and peppy villagers reference an unseen friend known as Moppina.

House[]

In Animal Crossing, Daisy has the tartan rug and the library wall, with the full mammoth fossil in the middle of the room, an antique clock, four fossils on the room's far side, an extinguisher, and two gyroids: the mega and mini alloid.

In Wild World and City Folk, Daisy's house is vaguely similar to the older house, and is very neat and organized. She seems to enjoy astronomy, having a telescope and the spotlight item - the moon. She has two fossils, the ammonite and amber. She has a library wall and the tartan rug, which matches her grandfather clock. She also has an exotic screen, a cream sofa, and an extinguisher. If she gets a stereo, it will play K.K. Soul.
