Red Pikmin Hat[]

The Red Pikmin Hat

The red Pikmin hat was released to commemorate the release of the New Play Control! Pikmin 2 game. Pikmin 2 was first released on the Gamecube and was later released again for the Wii except with new controls that utilize the new Wii Remote functionality. It was first released in Japan from December 24, 2008 to December 31, 2008, released in North America on March 25, 2009 to April 1, 2009 and released in Europe from February 6, 2009 to February 19, 2009. To celebrate this, Nintendo sent a letter with the hat attached as a present. The letter reads:

The Letter for the Red Pikmin Hat
Dear <Player>,

Look what bloomed in
celebration of spring's
beginning—a Pikmin hat!
It won't make you immune
to fire, but hopefully it'll
put a spring in your step!

The Top

The Top was the second DLC item to be released and was only available in Japan. It was available from January 1, 2009 until January 15, 2009. It did not spin or move in any way. Once the player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 2,100 Bells.

The Chocolate Heart was available in Japan from February 14, 2009 through February 26, 2009 for Valentine's Day. It can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 250 Bells.

Empress' Tiara[]

The Empress' Tiara was available in Japan from March 3, 2009 to March 15, 2009 for the Japanese holiday Girl's Day and was re-distributed from February 2, 2010 to February 12, 2010. Once the Player has received the item, it can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's catalog for 1,265 Bells.

Tokonoma[]

The Tokonama

The Tokonoma was given out from March 17, 2009 to April 2, 2009. It is a piece of traditional Japanese interior decoration which displays a hanging scroll. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 2,300 Bells.

Student Outfit[]

Student Outfit

The Student Cap and Uniform was released in Japan from April 4, 2009 to May 1, 2009. The player would receive the hat from Pete and later receive the uniform Pro Design from Wendell. Once the Player has received the hat, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 500 Bells.

Carp Banner[]

The Carp Flag

The Carp Banner was released to celebrate the Japanese holiday, Boy's Day. It was available from May 3, 2009 to May 31, 2009 in Japan only. Animal Crossing(Gamecube) players may remember these placed around your town. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 2,020 Bells.

Ghost Umbrella[]

The Ghost Umbrella

This umbrella was released for the rainy season in Japan. It was available from June 15 through July 5, 2009 in Japan only. This umbrella greatly resembles a Teru teru bōzu. A teru teru bōzu is a doll that is hung up outside. It is believed to use its powers to grant sunny weather and to prevent rain. Once the Player has received the item, it can be bought from Tom Nook's Store for 316 Bells.

Morning Glory[]

The Morning Glory

The Morning Glory was distributed in Japan from July 20 to August 13, 2009. Once the Player has received the item, it can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalog for 1,600 Bells.

It is purchasable during May to September in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, from the Garden Shop after upgrading from Super T&T to T.I.Y .

Eggplant Cow[]

The Eggplant Cow

The Eggplant Cow (Or known as the Aubergine Cow in PAL versions) was distributed in Japan from August 15, 2009 to September 19, 2009. Once the Player has received the item, it can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalog for 500 Bells.

Celebration Outfit[]

The Celebration Outfit

The Celebration Outfit was released in Japan from September 21, 2009 to October 7, 2009. Pete delivered the hat and Wendell delivered the Pro Design shirt. Once the Player has received the hat, it can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalog for 240 Bells.

Team Hats[]

The Red and White Team Hats were distributed in Japan from October 12, 2009 to October 25, 2009. Once the Player has received the item, it can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalog for 120 Bells.

The Hagoita

The Hagoita was distributed in Japan from January 1, 2010 to January 15, 2010. A hagoita is a traditional decorative paddle from Japan. Once the player received the item it could be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalouge for 2,400 Bells.

Emperor's Cap[]

The Emperor's Cap was distributed in Japan from February 14, 2010 to March 1, 2010 to celebrate Girls' Day. It can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalog for 1,320 Bells.

Blossom Lantern[]

The Blossom Lantern was distributed in Japan from March 3, 2010 to March 16, 2010 to celebrate Girls Day. It is the lamp that is seen on the Hinaningyo next to the Emperor and Empress. It can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalog for 2,400 Bells.

Kintaro Outfit[]

The Kintaro outfit was distributed in Japan from May 5, 2010 til May 18, 2010 to celebrate Children's Day. It was based on the Japanese folklore known as Kintaro. The shirt design is obtained from Wendell and the wig is obtained from Pete. The wig can be bought from Tom Nook's Catalog for 3,200 Bells.

Bridal Veil[]

The Bridal Veil was distributed in Japan from June 18, 2010 to July 6, 2010. It can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's catalog for 2,400 Bells.

Cucumber Horse[]

The Cucumber Horse was distributed in Japan from August 15, 2010 to August 28, 2010 to celebrate Obon. It can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalog for 400 Bells.

Sporty Wall[]

The Sporty Wall was distributed in Japan from September 23, 2010 to October 10, 2010 to celebrate national Sports Day, that is annually held on the second Monday of October. It can be re-ordered from Tom Nook's Catalog for 2,000 Bells.
