This might sound kind of weird, but I really love the smell of dirt, burrrn.
― Drago, New Leaf

Drago (タツオ, Tatsuo?) is a lazy alligator villager that first appeared in New Leaf. His name may come from the word "draco" which is latin for dragon. His Japanese name also includes "タツ" (tatsu=龍/龙,竜) which means "dragon". This comes from his dragon-like appearance, his clothing featuring a dragon silhouette, his catchphrase "burrrn" (referencing the fire dragons are said to produce from their mouths) and his quote, "There's no room for two dragons in one pond". The repeated instances of the letter "r" in his catchphrase may likely be a play on the word "burp", given his lazy personality. He has the nature hobby.

Appearance[]

Drago has several dragon-like characteristics, but he shares a base shape with the other alligator villagers. He is green, with a white underside, hands, and feet. He has fuchsia lips and scale marks all over his body. He possesses frilled flaps on either side of his face, as well as two large horns on his head.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Drago will be friendly and easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he has a love of food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, like when fishing. Drago will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a lifestyle of exercise and fitness, which conflicts with the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics, or superheroes. He will also get along well with normal, peppy, smug, and sisterly villagers, and occasionally cranky villagers, but may from time to time annoy snooty villagers, who disagree with the lazy lifestyle.

House[]

In New Leaf, Drago's house has many objects from the Exotic Series, such as the bed, closet, end table, lamp, screen, and table. He has a goldfish, quince bonsai, lady palm, and a lazy-susan table. He has the imperial wall and floor, along with a turntable playing Imperial K.K..

In New Horizons, Drago's exterior has a yellow and white Eastern-style house with a white and green zen door and green shingled roof. There is a white lantern hanging from the eaves of the house. His house is fitted with many furniture pieces from the Imperial set, including black imperial chests, black imperial dining chair, red imperial dining table, red imperial partition, and gold imperial dining lanterns. A seahorse model, phonograph, and two cherry-blossom branches also decorate his home. His wallpaper is the Imperial Wall, and his flooring is the Imperial Tile.

Drago was added to Pocket Camp in the March 7, 2018 update.

Drago's preferred theme is harmonious, and he primarily gives wood as a reward. His profile reads:

❝ When you think of a dragon, you probably think of a fearsome beast with sharp claws and fangs... and not Drago. He doesn't even have fangs - just an overzealous orthodontist.❞
