Got any snacks on you?
― Picture quote, Wild World

Drake (フォアグラ, Foagura?, Foie Gras) is a lazy duck villager from the Animal Crossing series. The name "Drake" comes from the word given to male ducks. Female ducks are called "hens". His Japanese name comes from the food foie gras, made with duck liver. His initial phrase, "quacko", is play on the word "quack", the sound ducks make. Bill, another male duck, says the same catchphrase. He shares his Wild World picture quote with Elmer, another villager.

He has the play hobby.

He also is featured on the cover of Neapolitan.

Appearance[]

Drake in Wild World

Drake is a male Mallard duck with a turquoise head and a yellow beak. Drake's arms are brown and he initially wears a Folk Shirt. His eyes have a small black pupil in them, and the part of his belly is also brown. The area around his eyes are a darker shade of green, giving him a very irritated or tired appearance, as one would look in cartoons where the lack of sleep would cause one to become essentially wide awake as the time they spend awake goes on.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Drake will be friendly and easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he has a love of food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, like when fishing. Drake will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a lifestyle of exercise and fitness, which conflicts with the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics, or superheroes. He will also get along well with normal, peppy, smug, and sisterly villagers, and occasionally cranky villagers, but may from time to time annoy snooty villagers, who disagree with the lazy lifestyle.

House[]

Drake's house is camp-themed, using the shanty mat and cabin wallpaper. He has a retro stereo in his house which plays K.K. Blues. He also has a sleeping bag and a microwave in the games before New Leaf.

Drake's preferred theme is rustic, and he primarily gives steel as a reward. His profile reads:

❝ Most of the time, Drake is either very hungry or very full. Actually... has anyone ever seen him when he's properly fed? He could be like a totally different person.❞
