Flo (レイラ,Reira?, Leila) is a sisterlypenguinvillager who first appears in New Leaf. Her name is derived from ice floes, which are icy blocks often found floating in frigid waters. Both her Italian and Spanish names come from the words for snow. She has the music hobby.
Flo is a navy blue penguin with a white face. She has half-closed eyes and she wears red eyeshadow. She has six eyelashes on each eye; three on top and three on the bottom. Her beak and feet are orange. She initially wears the Fiendish Shirt. in New Horizons, she initially wears the Folk Shirt.

Flo is a sisterly villager. When befriended, she will give the player fighting tips and teach them ways to relax. Flo will also give the player medicine if they are stung by a wasp. Like all sisterly villagers, Flo is tough, but she will still care deeply about her appearance. Flo has a tendency to stay up very late at night. It is easy to get her picture since developing friendships with sisterly villagers is simple due to her caring and protective nature, sometimes talking to the player about her friendship with her old neighbor's son. Flo may get along with jock villagers who share her love of sports, lazy and normal villagers for how laid-back they are, and peppy villagers. However, she may conflict with smug and snooty villagers due to their arrogant nature. Flo may clash with cranky villagers due to their similarly stubborn personalities, but often end up becoming best friends.
House
Flo's house has a rock and roll vibe, with a color scheme of black and red, matching her physical appearance. She owns a rock guitar and a CD Shelf, as well as a standing spotlight and a Simple Love Seat. Flo also possesses three Modern items, being the bed, the cabinet and the desk. She also displays the album cover for Space K.K. on top of her Modern Desk, which is the same song that she plays on her Retro Stereo. Flo's wallpaper is the Sleek Wall, and her flooring is the Charcoal Tile.
