Flower Festival is a competition in Wild World to see who can grow the best garden.
Tortimer will preside in front of the Town Hall and hand out flowers, which are planted around the resident's house. At the end of the event, the resident with the best garden wins, and will receive a flower fest trophy. The source of the flowers does not have to be from Tortimer, which means flowers bought from Tom Nook or pocketed from around the town still count towards the competition.
The Player can cheat at this by planting patterns all over the neighbor's homes, preventing any flowers from growing and thus eliminating all competition even with one flower. A last-minute option to cheat in the event requires the player to take every other villager's flowers the night before the event ends and plant them all around their own home.
