Th-that's ridiculous... How can you not like potatoes?! Have you even had a potato?!
― Frita, New Leaf

Frita (ウェンディ, Wendī?, Wendy) is a sisterly sheep villager in the Animal Crossing series. Her name is Spanish and Portuguese for the word "fried", and also similar to the Spanish word "papas fritas", which means "french fries". It also may be a reference to "frites", the French word for "fries". Her Japanese name is a reference to the fast food chain, Wendy's. Her catchphrase is a play on the phrase "oh you", swapping out the "you" with the similar-sounding word, "ewe", which is the word for a female sheep.

She is featured on the cover of K.K. Parade and she has the music hobby.

Appearance[]

Frita is a brown sheep with fleece that appears to be made out of or styled in the shape of french fries. The back of her head resembles a burger, and her face looks like a potato. The tips of her hooves are yellow, and her horns have red and yellow stripes on them, presumably meant to resemble ketchup and mustard. Frita also has blue eyes, and four freckles above her nose. Frita's initial shirt is the reggae tee, which she wears as a scarf, much like every other sheep villager. In New Horizons, however, she wears a hot dog tank.

She, Chadder, Tangy, Zucker, Ketchup, Carrot, and Merengue resemble food.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the sisterly personality. For more information, click here.

Frita is a sisterly villager. When befriended, she will give the player fighting tips and teach them ways to relax. Frita will also give the player medicine if they are stung by a wasp. Like all sisterly villagers, Frita is tough, but she will still care deeply about her appearance. Frita has a tendency to stay up very late at night. It is easy to get her picture since developing friendships with sisterly villagers is simple due to her caring and protective nature, sometimes talking to the player about her friendship with her old neighbor's son. Frita may get along with jock villagers who share her love of sports, lazy and normal villagers for how laid-back they are, and peppy villagers. However, she may conflict with smug and snooty villagers due to their arrogant nature. Frita may clash with cranky villagers due to their similarly stubborn personalities, but often end up becoming best friends.

House[]

Frita has many food-related items in her house, which makes her house look like a typical fast food restaurant. She owns two picnic tables, and a soft-serve lamp. She also owns a soda fountain, a salad bar, a dessert case and a popcorn machine. Her kiddie stereo plays K.K. Rockabilly.
