Animal Crossing Wiki

Goats (ヤギ, Yagi) are a species of villager in the Animal Crossing series. For an unknown reason, all but two goats were removed from the game in Wild World, leaving only female goats until New Leaf was released.

There are ten goat villagers in the series, six of which are male and four of which are female, with two being normal, two being jock, two being lazy, one being cranky, one being snooty, one being smug, and one being sisterly. There are no peppy goats.

Chevre is the only goat to appear in every game in the series aside from amiibo Festival.

Nearly half of all goats are Capricorn in reference to the symbol of Capricorn being a goat.
