Clothing Style: "Tadaaaa! Check out these spiffy [clothing style] duds, bro/ladybro! But what does "[clothing style]" really mean? I'm starting to wonder if I have any fashion sense..."
Holding a shovel: "Old dudes at construction sites are the coolest, aren't they? The kind of manual they do... It makes my muscles tingle just thinking about it! So I'm kind of copying them and walking around with this shovel. Suits me, huh?"
If villager is from a friend's town: "You should let me play you some of my jogging battle music. It gets me so fired up!"
- After foreign town tune plays: "This song is the town tune of [foreign town], where I used to live! It's actually pretty famous!"
Wearing a clothing from Able Sisters: "Take a look at my clothes! I hear that Someone from Anytown designed these clothes! Could be a famous designer! This is not the work of a mere mortal, [catchphrase]!"
Advice: "The other day I was doing this new hit-a-rock-with-a-shovel workout. I hit a rock, and money flew out! Seriously! I was so surprised, [catchphrase]! And the faster I hit it, the more money came out! That's the secret. Hit it as many times as you can as quickly as you can to get the most cash out of it. If you ever find a rock that spews money, remember that! Oh! Another thing about money... If you pick up a lot of it, try to stack it all together in your pockets. Just tap and hold a money icon, and drag it to another money icon to consolidate things a bit. Heh heh! It's so convenient! Give it a try, [catchphrase]!"

Bees behind the player: "What?! That's a bee swarm! Leave this to me! I'll chase them away for you! [Catchphrase]! Wait... Sorry! Can't do it!"
Player stung by a bee:

Beautiful Town: "Thanks to our brilliant mayor's ordinance, it's a lot easier and more pleasant to jog in this town. Weeds and garbage, the enemies of runners, are gone! It's a big help! [Catchphrase]!"

Conversations[]

Player Rumors: "You've been the subject of some gossip lately. Rumor has it you're a [rumor]. So uh...is it true?"
- It's true! "Really?! Huh. I guess the rumor mill gets one right once in a while!"
- I'm not so sure. "Heh heh! Seems like rumors are just rumors, [catchphrase]."
"So let's see... If [player] were a soccer player, what position would they play?"
- Offense: "Offense?! So you're the type who likes to get things done! You must be pretty passionate about life then, [catchphrase]!"
- Defense: "Defense?! So you're the protective type, very aware of what's going on all around you... That means you're the calm, cool, and collected type when it comes to life stuff. I like it, [catchphrase]!"

- You're imagining things! "What?! Huh. Maybe it was just an illusion. Coulda sworn you had what I wanted, though."

"My secret dream is to own my own [item]... And...you've...got...EXACTLY THE KIND I'M LOOKING FOR!! So you pretty much have to sell me my dream. Right, [player]?"

How much? "Hmm. I'm thinking...[number] Bells?"
- Yes, please! "Sweet, sweet, sweeeet! You really are generous, [player]! It's a deal for [number] Bells!"
  - Player hands over item: "I knew you wouldn't let me down. You're all right, [player]!"

Delivery[]

"Gaaaah! An important package for [Villager] got delivered to my house by mistake! Do you have a minute? Can you run it over to [Villager] for me?" (Player is given two options: "No problem!" and "Sorry, but I can't.")

No problem! "Yes! You rock, ladydude! I'm totally counting on you!" (Gives the present) "OK, so I'll need you to take care of this today, all right? Ha ha! It's like ready...set...go!"
- [Already delivered and it went well] "So, yeah. Delivering that to [Villager] was a big help! What kind of reaction did you get?" -Well...- "Sweeet! You got a reward for all your trouble? Sheesh. Now I wish I would have made the delivery myself..."

"Man, today has been weird so far. [Villager] told me about this thing, and, well... I sort of made it my mission to find it for [Villager]. I ran all over the place, and I finally tracked it down! It was actually a great workout! But now I'm exhausted. Any chance you can deliver it for me, [player]?" (Player is prompted to choose between two options: "No problem!" and "Sorry, but I can't.")

No problem! "Sorry to dump this on you. You're a real stand-up guy for helping me! [Catchphrase]!" (Gives the present) "OK, so I'll need you to take care of this today, all right? Ha ha! It's like ready...set...go!"
Sorry, but I can't. (Slouch sadly) "Awwwww... You too busy?"

"When I was cleaning my room, I found something I borrowed from [Villager], like, a million years ago. It's, like, gaaaah! Instant tension! Are they going to be upset with me? Will [Villager] think I'm irresponsible?! I was, uh, hoping you could take care of it for me."

No problem!: "Thank you, [catchphrase]! You're a huge help!" (Hands over present) "OK, so, I need you to take care of this today, huh? Ha ha! It's like ready... set... go!"
- [Already delivered and it went well] "[Player]! Thank you for making that delivery for [Villager]! And how was the reaction? -Might wanna sit down.- "Oh! So they were impressed that I actually returned it? Hmm... It feels weird getting praise for [Villager]. That's not [their] style."
"Sorry, but I can't. "Hmm. You might be onto something. I should probably deliver it myself."

Inviting player over[]

[On the way to villager's house]
- "What's the matter? Tuckered toe muscles got you down? We're almost there, so suck it up!"
- "When was the last time you came over to my place? Hmm... I don't really remember, but I'm sure it was fun! [Catchphrase]!"
- "You want me to lead that way? No can do, ladybro! You need me in back to monitor those calf muscles, [catchphrase]!"
[Trying to enter the player's house] "What's going on?! When I said "my house", I meant MY "my house", not YOUR "my house".
[Trying to a different villager's house] "Whoa! This is [other villager]'s house! You lost? You OK? Your name is [Player]! You're in [Town]!
[Trying to enter train station] "Huh? Are you taking a trip? Now?! Should we try for a visit some other time then?" (Given the option between "Let's go now!" and "Later would be better.")
- Your place! "Well, let's get going then! And I don't mean we should go by train!"
[Trying to enter Main Street] "Are you going shopping? Now?! We need to get a move on if we're going to hang out at my place. So what do you think? Shopping, or my place?" (Given the option between "Your place!" and "Shopping!")
- Your place! "OK! Let's go!"
[Trying to enter a different building] "You know this isn't my place, right? OK then! We're Oscar Mike!"
[Trying to enter the beach area] "Hey! I love a good swim as much as the next person, but I gotta tell ya... It's much easier to WALK to my house from here!"

Inside the villager's house[]

Arriving: "Here's my place! In we go!"

"Looks like you worked up a good sweat getting over here. Gotta stay hydrated on those jogs, ladybro!"
"My place is pretty cool, huh?"
"My house looks pretty cool, don't you think? If you're really into the [Own name] style, you have my permission to copy whatever you want!"
"That citrus aroma you're smelling is the smell of youthful ambition! But some people say my place just smells like a gym. Ha ha!"
"Like my [TV name]? One of my favorite sports show is on right now, I think..."

"Yeah, I've got a lot of cool stuff in my place, don't I? But hey! If you see something you want, I might be willing to sell it to you, [catchphrase]!" (Player is prompted to choose between "OK!" and "No, thanks.")

OK! "Oh! So do you have something in mind, [player]?
[Player presses A next to the item] "Ha ha! [A/An] [item]! Somehow I knew you'd choose that item, [player], [catchphrase]! I'll sell it to you for... [number] Bells. How about it?"
- Done! "Yes! It's a deal! (Villager hands over the selected item) "You'll take good care of it, right?"

Leaving: "Wait a sec! You're leaving? You'll tell me what you think of my place first, right? We're friends, so don't hold back!" (Player is prompted to choose between "It's awesome!" and "It's OK." and "It's not so great.")

It's awesome! "Really? I'm glad that you like it! You've got quite the discerning eye! Hey! For our next visit, we should meet at your place for some kung fu! [Catchphrase]!"

Request for Fruit[]

"Whew! I know it's prime training time, but I need a little breather. This is when I need to bite into some sweet, energizing fruit. Hey, Clara. Bring me some fruit, would ya? Anything will do, [catchphrase]. (Given the choice between "Got you covered!" and "Get it yourself!")

Got you covered! "Hoo yeah! Can't wait to see it! I'm already drooling..."
- (Player returns with a fruit) "Oh! Looks good! Mmm! As tasty as ever! Hey, you deserve a reward! Take my [item]!" (Hands over item) "I'm keeping you in mind for the next time I need a snack, [player]!"
