Appearance[]

Hopkins AFe+

Hopkins in Animal Forest e+

Hopkins is a simple light blue rabbit with dark blue eyebrows and freckles. His eyes are tall ovals, and rather cartoon-like. In New Horizons, he has subtle brown-colored irises. The insides of his ears are a bright yellow. On the back of his head, there appears to be a closed air hole, such as the ones on inflatable pool toys. This, alongside his Pocket Camp quote, implies that Hopkins may be a blow up bunny doll.[1] Hopkins initially wears the Blue Pinstripe shirt.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Hopkins will be friendly and easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he has a love of food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, like when fishing. Hopkins will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a lifestyle of exercise and fitness, which conflicts with the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics, or superheroes. He will also get along well with normal, peppy, smug, and sisterly villagers, and occasionally cranky villagers, but may from time to time annoy snooty villagers, who disagree with the lazy lifestyle.

House[]

In Animal Forest e+, Hopkins has the same furniture styling as Dizzy's house, the only difference is that the wallpaper has been changed to the Melon Wall and the flooring to the Kiddie Flooring.

In New Horizons, instead of having a couple of video game items inside, Hopkins' house has been fully made into an arcade (with the important addition of vending machines for snackage).

Mobile Home[]

While living in an RV in New Leaf, Hopkins still keeps the same sort of style that his house used in Animal Forest e+, using the Kiddie Wallpaper and the Neutral Flooring as his wallpaper and flooring. The furniture he has in his room include a Gameboy Stand and a TV with a VCR in it to add a more childish or playroom style to his area.

His RV description

"Now, now...Hopkins doesn't go camping to sit in his van to play videogames. He also drinks orange juice in there."

Pocket Camp[]

Hopkins was released with Pocket Camp on October 25, 2017.

Hopkins's preferred theme is sporty, and he primarily gives wood as a reward. His profile reads:

❝ Just a heads-up: Hopkins is not to be trusted. He's always full of hot air. If he wasn't properly moored to the ground, I bet even a light breeze could blow him away.❞

Theories[]

Hopkins is Zipper[]

It has been theorized that Hopkins is the person inside Zipper's costume. The facts that they are both of the same species, they share a birthday and have the same voice can support this theory. On the other side, it can be disproved if the player has Hopkins living in their town or in his RV (after they have scanned his amiibo card).

Theory ends here.
