Jakey (ジャコテン, Jakoten?) is a lazy bird villager from the Animal Crossing series. He was originally exclusive to Animal Forest e+. He could only move into a village if the player has his e-reader card. His initial phrase is similar to Anchovy's. He has returned for New Leaf.

Jacob returned to the series in New Leaf, as part of the Welcome amiibo update. By scanning amiibo cards, this villager can be met via the campground and invited to the town. In the newest update in PAL versions his name is Jakey, but in North American versions, his name is Jacob.

Appearance

Jakey is quite colorful, with a bit of green on the top of his head, orange on his forehead, a purple beak, yellow on his cheeks and chin, red, green, and yellow on his feathers, and yellow on his feet. Jakey initially wears a Green-tie-dye, a shirt with green and a white stripe on it. He also slightly resembles Shoukichi, another bird who was introduced and so far only appeared in Animal Forest e+.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

Jakey has a lazy personality, meaning that he will love food and sleeping. He will not get along with jock and snooty villagers, due to the their lifestyles that are centered around their appearances, a thing he doesn't care about. He will get along with other lazy, peppy, and normal villagers.
