Present Trick
The trick to getting Jingle's furniture is to have 10 different shirts; one per present. First, have any kind of shirt on. Second, find and talk to Jingle. He'll ask you a question. If you find him again, he'll ask you another question. Then once you find him one more time, talk to him, and you'll get a present. A random piece of Jingle furniture, a Jingle shirt, a Jingle Carpet, or a Jingle Wallpaper. Once you get the present, do not leave the acre, instead, go out of sight and change clothes, then talk to him. He'll think you're someone else, so he'll ask you a question. Go out of sight again stay in the same acre, and talk to him again. You'll get another present based on your answer. Repeat this until he catches on and laughs, saying he realizes you're the same person as the last. If you're lucky enough, you'll get 10 different collectibles of Jingle furniture and he will pop in your house.
City Folk
In Animal Crossing City Folk, you need to change your face accessory instead of your shirt in order to obtain a piece of furniture.

Jingle, along with the other holiday characters such as Jack and Franklin, was absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World. However, he is to make his return in the same circumstances as the original game in Animal Crossing: City Folk, with his furniture set. In City Folk, you will find Jingle wandering around town starting at eight at night. If you don't see him, try to open some of the houses that have their lights off. You will be able to, and one of those houses may contain Jingle. He will ask you if you like things you lean on or things you step on. If you choose either option, you will asked if you like the thing you specified or huge things. Things you lean on again will get you a Jingle Wall, and things you step on will get you a Jingle Carpet. Huge things will get you a random piece of Jingle furniture. It takes time to get the whole set of furniture, but don't get discouraged. Jingle Furniture sells for quite a bit of money.
Jingle will only go into houses when the occupants are outside.
