Joe (ジョ, Jō^?) is a bird villager in Animal Forest e+, which is the only game he has appeared in to date. He could only move into a village if the player has his E- Reader card. He is the fourth bird to have a cranky personality besides Admiral, Flash, and Twirp, three of which have not appeared since.

Admiral later reappeared in the Welcome Amiibo update as a scannable card, making him the only cranky bird available for New Leaf.

Appearance

Joe is a purple bird with some red details. He also has black hair, and he wears a Red Pinstripe, which GracieGrace sells in Animal Crossing: City Folk. He will wear a Red Pinstripe when he gets into the player's town.

Personality

Cranky villagers will usually appear in a grouchy or agitated mood and are more difficult to befriend than most other villager types. When talking to the player, cranky villagers tend to become angry if the player disagrees with them or refuses to do a favor. Like all cranky villagers, Joe will be invested in his hobby and will often challenge the player to various competitions. He will easily get along with jock, snooty and other cranky villagers, and occasionally lazy and normal villagers as well. However, he will find it hard to socialize with peppy villagers, as they will seem overstimulated or immature. Joe will also enjoy spreading rumors about other villagers.

House

Joe's house is the same house as Ed the horse's house, only that he has changed the floor and the walls for the Birch Flooring and the Exotic Wall respectively; he also has K.K. Cruisin' on his stereo.
