June (メイ, Mei^?) is a normal cub from the Animal Crossing series, first occurring as an islander in Animal Crossing and Animal Forest e+. In the Prima Official Guide for Animal Crossing, her picture was replaced with Jane's. Unlike her name would suggest, June's birthday is in May. This is because her Japanese name is pronounced "May". However, her English name could be referring to her summer theme.

June (villager) returned to the series in New Leaf, as part of the Welcome amiibo update. By scanning amiibo cards, this villager can be met via the campground and invited to the town.

She has the nature hobby.

Appearance

June in Animal Crossing

June is a light brown cub with dark brown hair and ears. She wears a red hibiscus in her hair and the insides of her ears are pink. She also has blue eyes and the tips of her paws are cream. June wears the Red Aloha Shirt in Animal Crossing, the Garden Tank in New Leaf, and the Hibiscus Muumuu in New Horizons.

June has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along well with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and other normal villagers. June may conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers. As a normal villager, June will usually wake up at 6:00 am and is easier to befriend than most. Both normal and peppy villagers reference an unseen friend known as Moppina.

House

In New Leaf, June's home is based off of a hospital's waiting room. She owns a medicine cabinet, an umbrella stand, a waiting-room bench, a public phone, and a reception desk. On her reception desk is a money tray. June does not initially own a stereo, but when she obtains one, it will play K.K. Aria.

In New Horizons, June has a beach-themed home, with furniture from the Shell Set in a pink variation. She has the shell arch in the middle of her house, surrounded by the shell fountain, shell partition, shell bed, and a shell speaker that plays K.K. Island. She uses the starry-sands flooring as flooring and the ocean-horizons wall for wallpaper.

Pocket Camp

June was added to Pocket Camp in the December 21, 2017 update, alongside Mitzi, Marshal, Drake, Vesta, Goose, and Avery.

June's preferred theme is rustic, and she primarily gives steel as a reward. Her profile reads:

• As an islander, she has a favorite fruit and a fruit that she is allergic to. She loves peaches and is allergic to pears. Feeding her the fruit she is allergic to reduces the likelihood of her dropping money bags.
• She is the only islander to not have her personality changed when reappearing in Welcome amiibo.
• In New Horizons, June's preferred styles are Cute/Simple, and her preferred colors are Red/White.
