The list below has every song in New Horizons. If a song's name is in bold, it is new to the game it is in. If a song's name is in italics, it must be requested from K.K. Slider to be obtained. If a song's name has both, it is both new and can only be requested.
Song List[]
Invalid songs (not obtainable)[]
The songs listed below cannot be bought and these three new songs are played when an invalid request is made to K.K. In the games' files, these are called Hazure01, Hazure02, and Hazure03 (Hazure meaning "miss" in Japanese). Hazure01 is a cover of the Title Theme from Wild World and City Folk.
108. Hazure01
109. Hazure02
110. Hazure03
Note[]
Song #59 - K.K. Mariachi (Changed name from "Señor K.K.")
Trivia[]
- Airchecks in this game have four versions depending on what music player is being used to play them: "Hifi", the normal high quality version; "Cheap", the staticky version heard on the radio; "Phono", a lower quality and sometimes slightly different version heard on record players; and "Retro", heard on certain players (which ones specifically are unknown).
- Continuing the pattern from previous games, three new songs (Animal City, Drivin', and Farewell) were songs played in New Leaf when the player made an invalid request.
- Animal City is a remix of the City Theme from City Folk. The live performance sounds like the Night version, while the Aircheck is essentially the same as the Day version.
- The song actually made its first appearance in the Japan-exclusive CD soundtrack Animal Crossing: City Folk ~Forest Concert~ released on April 22nd, 2009. It is the 37th track on the disc and was titled City Square -K.K. Live Version-. It also was released on the CD Animal Crossing - Your Favourite Songs - Original Soundtrack in December of the same year.
- The album art for each song contains legible, or readable, titles instead of made-up text as in New Leaf and Happy Home Designer. Some art has been changed slightly. Some titles are also written in a language related to the genre of the song:
