Don't tell anyone! My train obsession is a secret!
― Ken, New Leaf

Ken (クロベエ, Kurobē?) is a smug chicken villager in New Leaf and New Horizons. His name comes from the word chicken and may also be based on the Japanese word for sword (Ken) and named after Ken from Street Fighter, because he looks like a ninja and his default shirt is the ninja shirt. Ken's Japanese name is a portmanteau of Kuro ("black", referring to his color scheme) and -bee, a suffix in male Japanese names. He has the education hobby.
