Light sticks are a type of tool that debuted in New Horizons. Despite being classified as a Tool, it has no use other than as a cosmetic item, similar to the party popper or umbrella.
Villagers can be seen carrying light sticks at the countdown to New Year's Day and certain K.K. Slider songs.
Usage[]
The light stick has a similar holding animation to the wand and the slingshot, being held by the player's right hand.
The light stick glows yellow infinitely and can be shaken indefinitely in the air when holding the A button, mimicking the usage of one in real life. Despite being called a "light stick", the item emits no light.

The light stick is gifted to the player from Isabelle during the New Year's Eve Event.
