Lions (ライオン, Raion) are a species of villagers in the Animal Crossing series.

There are nine lion villagers with four being jock, two being cranky, two being smug, and one being lazy.

There are no female lions, making lions the only species currently composed of one gender, if cows and bulls are not considered a single species.

Most lions are Leo in reference to the symbol of Leo being a lion itself. There are a few exceptions, those being Aziz, Jubei, and Mott.
