Lyman (オズモンド, Ozumondo^?, Osmond) is a jock koala villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name means someone who lives in a meadow or patch of grassy land, referencing to his fur color, and may be a portmanteau of "lime", "lemon" and "eucalyptus". He has the play hobby.

Appearance

Lyman is a light green, or spring green koala. His feet, hands, and the bottom half of his face are a creamy yellow. He has a creamy white belly. He also has large, dark green eyebrows and a large yellow-orange nose. His nose and eyebrows may be designed to somewhat resemble a carrot to go along with his general theme of vegetables.

Personality

Lyman has a jock personality and has a great interest in sports and bodybuilding. Jock villagers are hyperactive and motivated, but often come across as self-centered and dense. As a jock villager, Lyman is very interested in his hobby, and may compete against the player at catching bugs and fish. Jock villagers get along with peppy, cranky, and sisterly villagers, but conflict with the laid-back lifestyle of lazy villagers. Snooty villagers may also be difficult to get along with for Lyman.

House

In New Leaf, Lyman's house has a green and yellow color scheme similar to the color scheme of his character design. He has a few pieces from the Green Series, a Pineapple Bed, a Cactus and a Round Cactus, a Minimalist Lamp, and a Box Sofa and Box Corner Sofa. His carpet is the Backyard Lawn and his wallpaper is the Dotted Wall. Lyman has a cassette player on a Pine Table playing K.K. Island.

In New Horizons, Lyman's initial house, when moving from a tent to a house, has his sleeping bag and his lantern. In addition, he also has a green wooden table and a green mini DIY workbench. His flooring is birch flooring and his wallpaper is green painted wallpaper.

Lyman was added to Pocket Camp in the June 28, 2020 update.

Lyman's preferred theme is rustic, and he primarily gives paper as a reward. His profile reads:

• Lyman is afraid of the Ghost mask in New Leaf.
