Marcie (マリア, Maria^?) is a normal kangaroo villager in the Animal Crossing series. Her name may come from marsupial, a type of mammal that includes the kangaroo. Her phrase "pouches" is also likely a reference to kangaroos and marsupials, who are known to carry their young in a pouch. She has the nature hobby.

Appearance

Marcie is a pastel pink kangaroo with no visible nose, and big, sparkly dark brown eyes (stylistically similar to Judy's). She has curly, melon-colored pink hair with matching lipstick, and light pink blush. The tips of her ears and her paws are white, and when Marcie closes her eyes, she has white eye-shadow. . Prior to New Horizons, she wore a Pink Tartan Tee, but she currently wears a pink Heart Apron. Like all female kangaroos, Marcie has a joey in her pouch that is identical to her, and mirrors her moods.

Marcie has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along well with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and other normal villagers. Marcie may conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers. As a normal villager, Marcie will usually wake up at 6:00 am and is easier to befriend than most. Both normal and peppy villagers reference an unseen friend known as Moppina.

House

Marcie's house has a resemblance to a regular everyday house, except with a few nursery items, referencing her species. She owns a baby bed, a rocking horse and a wobbelina. Marcie also owns a few Minimalist items, namely the bed, the table and the dresser. Her wallpaper is the Rose Wall, her flooring is the Neutral Floor and she owns a record player that plays K.K. Aria.

Marcie's preferred theme is cute, and she primarily gives steel as a reward. Her profile reads:
