Marlo (ドンチャン Donchan?) is a cranky hamster villager in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update. He was revealed in the October 15, 2021 ACNH Nintendo Direct.

Marlo's name and color scheme may be a reference to Hollywood actor Marlon Brando, who played Vito Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather. Keeping with the mafia theme, his Japanese name, "Donchan", may come from "don" (as in, a mafia don) and the honorific "chan" (used as a term of endearment).

His catchphrase, "gabeesh" is Southern Italian slang for "capiche", meaning "do you understand?".

Marlo has the education hobby.

Like all cranky villagers, Marlo will be invested in his hobby and will often challenge the player to various competitions. He will easily get along with jock, snooty, and other cranky villagers, and occasionally lazy and normal villagers as well. However, he will find it hard to socialize with peppy villagers, as they will seem overstimulated or immature.
