Medli (メドリ,Medori?) is a normalbirdvillager from the Animal Crossing series, introduced in the Welcome amiibo update. Medli appears in the campground when a Toon Link or Toon Zelda amiibo is scanned in the game, and can even be invited to live in the player's town. Her birthday is the same day The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker first released in Japan.
Along with other RV-exclusive villagers, Medli can't be invited to the town if their own house is still present in the town. Once they have packed boxes and left, they may be "adopted" again.
Medli is a stylized bird villager designed to resemble the appearance of Medli in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, with pale skin, round, red eyes, a bright yellow beak, and light brown hair that parts down the middle.

Medli has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along well with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and other normal villagers. Medli may conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers. As a normal villager, Medli will usually wake up at 6:00 am and is easier to befriend than most. Both normal and peppy villagers reference an unseen friend known as Moppina.
