Hey there it's your friendly admin Emilysara here! I see that you have been recently editing and updating a lot of pages with new New Horizons information. I was wondering if I could have your permission to put up a voting proposal to add you to the AC wiki patrolling staff?
If you have any questions, want to learn more about patrolling edits, or other wiki related things please reply here!
Hey there! I'm a Community Manager here at Fandom and I wanted to say thanks for all the work you do. I'd love to buy you a game or send you some swag. If you're up for it email me at email@example.com or hit me on Discord HeyTots#1127
While looking through recent edits of yours, it appears you've been partaking in some false editing. We encourage users to edit for the well-being of the wiki, not for bragging rights over how many edits one user has against another or to earn Achievement Badges.
You are a consistent editor here and I've seen what you are capable of. Your edits today have been off-putting compared to what you usually do. Please do not let badges get in the way of your edits. They are a temporary addition to the wiki and will be disabled on the first of September. Making it to the top of the leaderboard has no prize and will no longer exist in a matter of weeks. Also, if you are attempting to reach your 1,000th edit, it's best you hit it off with something important. You don't want to look back and see you worked your way up from useless edits.
Users are complaining over the clogging of Recent Changes and it would be appreciated if you would refrain from doing so. If you are having trouble editing, let me know and I'd be glad to help!
Firstly, I'd like to apologize for my late response. Secondly, I'd like to apologize for my sloppy editing yesterday. I was having an off day, which I took out on the wiki, this is inexcusable. I apologize to you and the other hard working members of the wiki for my behavior, and rest assured it won't happen again.
Thank you for letting me know of my errors and I apologize once again.
Hi Cookiecutie! Recently I have seen that you're adding spaces to divide villagers' gallery paragraphs and villagers' house paragraphs. You don't need to do that anymore! The problem with the paragraphs is because the house picture isn't in a house gallery and the villager's gallery just wants to fit into the page. Just put the house picture into a gallery and you won't be needing those spaces anymore! Here is how to make a gallery by the way ;)
To make a gallery using visual editor, you will need to click on the word "insert" located on the toolbar under the page name. Once clicked it should open up a small menu that has, "Media, Gallery, Numbered List, Bullet List, Template, etc." Click on, "Gallery" and type in the name of the picture in "Search for Images". Find your picture and click on it, (you will find the picture you clicked on in a green area to the right of the gallery menu). Click "Apply Changes".
To make a gallery using classic editor, find the menu located to the right, click on "Gallery" then click on "Add a photo" (you should be able to find your image in "recent uploads" if you have recently uploaded it, if not just search for the name in, "Search Photos on this wiki") click on the picture, add your caption and you should be done! Click "Preview" to check your edits and click "Publish".
Quick tip: If you are just moving a picture to a gallery just click on "this page" in the gallery menu in classic editor, then just do as above! You can also just do, <gallery>(The picture's name).jpg/.png/.gif|(Caption).</gallery>
in classic editor.
