“This can't be worse! I can't get inside to make my date with a very special <food>!”
― Miranda, City Folk
Miranda (ミランダ, Miranda?) is a snooty duck in the Animal Crossing series. Miranda first appeared in Animal Forest e+. However, she was absent in Wild World but returned in City Folk. Her initial phrase makes reference to the sound that ducks make.
Miranda is a pink duck with a magenta bob haircut. She wears sky blue eyeshadow and orange blush. Her bill and feet are yellow, and the tips of her feathers are white. Miranda wears the Laced Shirt when she first moves in. In New Leaf, however, she wears the Amethyst Tee.
|Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.|
In Animal Forest e+, Miranda's house has a house that resembles Kiki's, the difference being that the Plaza Wall and Checkered Tile are her choice of wallpaper and flooring and her Retro Stereo plays K.K. Salsa.
In City Folk, Miranda's house has no specific theme to it. She owns both items from the Pine Set, the table and the chair, as well as a Large Oomboid. She also has two cacti, and a Retro Stereo that plays K.K. Salsa, much like the previous game she appeared in. She has the Plaza Wall and the Checkered Tile as her choice of wallpaper and flooring, just like before.
In New Leaf, Miranda's home has been changed to give off a more posh look, which fits her personality. She owns quite a few Rococo items, being the vanity, the bed, and the table. The Rococo Table displays Red Lillies, as well as a Phonograph that plays K.K. Sonata. Miranda also owns a Classic Sofa, a rope partition, and a whirlpool bath. Her wallpaper is still the Plaza Wall, but her flooring has changed to the Palace Floor.
