Animal Crossing™: New Horizons Nook Tails[]

Nook Tails is a comic series that deal with events from before Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It seems it takes place when Tom Nook, Timmy, and Tommy were looking for deserted islands to establish their getaway packages.

  • Deserted Island Getaway Package features the Nook Family trying to investigate where to set their Getaway Package at, with Tommy apparently scouting ahead. However, while it seemingly was perfect, a critical flaw was that the island they found lacked a significant enough amount of fruit that Tommy was starving to death by the time they arrived.
  • DIY Workshop features Tom Nook telling Timmy and Tommy to create some stuff like an outdoor bath and garden rocks using DIY so they can relax at a hot spring.
  • NookPhone Life features Tom Nook asking either Timmy or Tommy what one item they would bring to the next deserted island for cost reasons. Tom Nook tells them that he is bringing his NookPhone, for it does not need to be charged. Tom Nook claims that the method behind the NookPhone not needing any charging is a trade secret, though a footnote after this claim revealed the actual reason is because its powered by the player's Nintendo Switch.
  • That's One Smart Phone has Tom Nook explaining the properties of the Nook Phone to Timmy and Tommy regarding how its necessary for living on a deserted island before inquiring if they each have one. One of them explains that he has one already due to sending text messages, but the other admits that he only has a standard cellular phone to their shock. Tom then tells the other that every deserted island getaway package participant receives their own Nookphone before supplying it, with his excitedly asking who he should call first as a footnote explains that data is included in every Nookphone.
  • Nook Inc. Handheld Pennant features Timmy and Tommy trying to decide on what good tour guides need most before deciding on a flag so the tourists know who to follow. They then create a flag that was large enough to follow their lead. However, it proved to be too large for them, as it promptly blew away and carried the twins away as Tom Nook watched in shock. He then cuts a part of the flag off to be far more handheld while chiding them on getting carried away, as Timmy and Tommy grudgingly agreed with him.
  • Hemisphere has Timmy and Tommy having just packed for going to a new island, preparing for a tropical summer. However, when they actually get to the island, they get a nasty surprise and discover they're near-freezing in a blizzard, causing them to hug each other for warmth as Tom Nook calls out to them. In the tent, Tom Nook then hands them mugs of presumably hot cocoa after wrapping them in blankets and clarified that the island they are on is actually in the Southern Hemisphere, which meant August is in the dead of the winter in that hemisphere. As one of the twins laments his chance for the pool, Tom Nook then explains that, even without swimming, there's still plenty of wintertime activities that Nook Inc. can provide service for, with Tommy and Timmy being particularly ecstatic at them being cozy, with it also having a footnote at the end that there's always loans available.
  • Nook Inc. Alola Shirt: Tom Nook as well as Timmy and Tommy about to depart for their deserted island, presumably having completed the preparations. Tom then says that he first wants to share something to the both of them: He then expressed his deep gratitude for their hard work in making this package possible, bringing the two to tears. The pair then admit while hugging him that they themselves had something to share with him as well, with Tom assuring the pair that they can tell him anything. They then admit they had their shirts inside out as they rip open Tom Nook's shirt to his shock, revealing the alola pattern within.
  • Certificate of Gratitude: Tom Nook addresses Timmy and Tommy, recognizing them as having been loyal, hardworking employees in the past year before revealing with pride that he intends to offer the two Certificates of Gratitude, citing their contributions as being as distinct as their personalities while the twins' hearts are racing. They then cheer and thank Tom Nook as they receive their certificates, though they secretly shuffle them between themselves as even Tom Nook had difficulty telling the two apart.

Animal Crossing Pascal's Pearls of Wisdom[]

This as the name suggests has images featuring Pascal and his wisdom sayings.

  • They say "swing for the fences" and "go the whole nine yards", but, like, what if you don't play hockey?
  • If dinosaurs turned into oil, and oil is what makes cars go, why are dinosaurs such bad drivers?
  • Sometimes I wish I was a bird. It's pretty obvious why–so I could turn my head back and forth real fast!
  • Noses are weird, maaan. They're like tiny vacuums on your face. But where do all the smells even go?
  • DNA, maaan. They say it's what we're all made of. But if I'm made of letters...pretty sure its OTTE and R.
  • Have you ever noticed there are rock stars but no roll stars? Whatever happened to rock AND roll, maaan?
  • Everyone knows the funny bone isn't funny, maaan. So when are we gonna start calling it the ouchy bone?
  • When someone tells you to hold your horses, you tell them no. Maaan, they're way too heavy!
  • Everyone's heard of an eager beaver. But otters are 100 times more eager. So why don't we get credit for it?
  • Ever wonder why they call it a flower bed? They always seem real awake to me.
  • You gotta wonder why folks always ignore the elephant in the room. Elephants give the best advice, man.
  • Some ideas are better when they're half-baked, maaan. Just like cookies. Gooey on the inside is where it's at.
  • Cookies fresh out of the oven are like warm hugs for your mouth. And your mouth...maaan, it needs hugs too.
  • Maybe a waffle is called a waffle 'cause it can't decide if it wants to be a pancake. You gotta wonder...
  • Some folks get offended when you call a spider an insect, but you never hear a spider complain, maaan!
  • If kayak is still kayak backward, how do you know if you're saying it in the right direction? Think about it...
  • They say the early bird gets the worm, but those evening birds seem to be doing just fine.
  • A vest is the square root of a jacket. And, like...a hat is just hair squared. That's a lot of math in clothes.
  • Whoever named quicksand had the right idea. Regular sand is reeeeal slow, maaan.
  • They say that runners can get a second wind, but, like, what if the first one is barely even a breeze?
  • If you show up at the water balloon fight with a sponge, you're gonna get soaked, man. And that's A-OK!
  • If you wanna get ahead in life, you gotta pick a direction first, maaan!
  • If you love your job, you'll never work a single day. Unless you're a heavy-metal drummer. That's work.
  • Every day is the best day of my life, maaan. And I'm not just sayin' that because of the scallops.
  • Trees are earth hair. And grass? A giant earth beard. Which means... deserts are the bald spots? Maaan!
  • Nobody ever asks the pineapple if it WANTS to be on the pizza, maaan.
  • Nobody ever asks a tree what its five year plan is, maaan. Maybe that's why they can grow so tall.
  • When I swim in the sea and get wet... the ocean gets a little bit dryer. Do I, like, owe the ocean an apology?
  • Where did my hat come from, maaan? Like, did I put it on once, or...was it just always there?
  • They don't make movies like they used to. They probably can't. That equipment must be busted by now.
  • Peanut butter knows EXACTLY what it's doing...and it should be ashamed of itself, maaan.
  • If time is always running out...are we doing something to chase it away?
  • If eyes are windows to the swoul, is the mouth a garage door? Makes sense. I always forget to close mine.
  • If time is relative, then a calendar has gotta be, like, a family tree.
  • Ever been to a scarecrow party? Everyone just sorta hangs around, maaan... Boooooriiiing!
  • What's up with crossword puzzles, maaan? Why are they so upset? Why not kindword puzzles?
