Nookway (スーパーたぬき, Sūpā Tanuki?, Super Tanuki) is the third expansion of Tom Nook's shop, and may be parodying a Safeway supermarket. The player must have had Nook 'N' Go for at least 15 days, and spent 65,000 Bells at the previous Nook stores for the upgrade to happen. It has a wider variety of items to choose from than the previous two stores, but closes earlier. Nookway is the successor to Nook 'N' Go. It is the second shop to have an automatic door. In Wild World, upgrading to Nookington's requires a friend to shop at Nookway and spend 240,000 Bells.

- Due to the shutdown of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for Nintendo DS that is used to visit towns, it is only possible to achieve this upgrade on that console through local multiplayer or, more recently, home-brewed wi-fi solutions for that generation of systems.
