“This is a pretty nice room! It's so nice that I almost want to move right in! Hah ha!”
― Olaf, New Leaf
Olaf (アントニオ,Antonio?) is a smuganteatervillager that first appeared in New Leaf. His Japanese and Korean catchphrases reference the Spanish word mucho, which means much or a lot. Similarly, his Chinese catchphrase is meant to sound like the Spanish greeting hola. He has the education hobby.
Olaf is a dark-orange anteater with wavy brown hair. The insides of his ears are bright-blue and he has subtle streaks of turquoise in his hair. He is one of the few villagers to have sleeves and wear pants. His initial appearance is that of a Spanish bullfighter, as referenced by both his Japanese name (Antonio) and the name of his starting garment (Suit of Lights). His pants and sleeves aren't removed if he changes his shirt, proving that the "sleeves" are just part of his body coloration.
Personality

Smug villagers are very polite, kind, and gentleman-like. As a smug villager, Olaf will get along easily with other villagers. Smug villagers get along well with most villagers, their personality appearing to be a mix of the other personality types. As a smug villager he will stroke his ego from time to time, going on about how cool he is.
Generally, Olaf will get along with lazy, normal, snooty and peppy villagers, and may conflict with cranky villagers.
House
In New Leaf, Olaf's house somewhat resembles a pub with items such as the billiard table and a Coat Hanger. He has a cactus, a whirlpool bath, a sleek sofa and a fireplace to fit in with the stylish theme of his house. Olaf also owns a Phonograph that plays K.K. Milonga. His choice of wallpaper is the Sleek Wall and his choice of flooring is the Chessboard Rug.
