― Picture quote, Wild World
Peewee (ダンベル, Danberu?, Dumbbell) is a cranky gorilla villager in the Animal Crossing series. His name is a joke on his size and personality - "peewee" usually indicating size with relation to youth when Peewee is in fact large and adult. His initial phrase, "Li'l dude," also relates to this or because he is larger than most people he speaks to. He has appeared in every game so far. He appears on the album cover for K.K. Fusion.

Peewee is a black and blue gorilla with huge nostrils, who initially wears a 5 ball shirt. He appears to have black pupils in his eyes. If the player creates any designs, then he will wear them. If there is more than one player in the town, he will tell the player that did not create the design and that the design is "much better than your bargin-basement designs".

Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.
Cranky villagers will usually appear in a grouchy or agitated mood and are more difficult to befriend than other villager types. When talking to the player, cranky villagers tend to become angry if the player disagrees with them or refuses to do a favor. Like all cranky villagers, Peewee will be invested in his hobby and will often challenge the player to various competitions. He will easily get along with jock, snooty and other cranky villagers, and occasionally lazy and normal villagers as well. However, he will find it hard to socialize with peppy villagers, as they will seem overstimulated or immature. Peewee will also enjoy spreading rumors of other villagers.

Peewee has several gyroids (a mega timpanoid and a rustoid) in his house, as well as a samurai sword set. If he attains a stereo, it will play K.K. Casbah

In New Leaf, Peewee's house is almost completely changed. It has the cardboard table, high-end stereo that plays K.K. Rally, a drum set, a wall fan, a modern bed, a kettle, and a few more drums including the taiko drum. He has the wood paneling wall and a concrete floor.
