I just ate like 50 pounds of peach cobbler so I'm feeling kind of bloated.
― Peggy, City Folk
Peggy (ちえり Chieri?) is a peppy pig villager from the Animal Crossing series. She originally appeared in the Japanese-only Animal Forest e+, was cut out of Wild World, and returned in City Folk. Her name may be a parody of Miss Piggy from the Muppets, a parody simply on the word piggy (a colloquial term for pig), or from the brand of sweets called Peggy Pig and Pals. Her catchphrase is a play on the word "sweetie", a possible reference to Peggy Pig and Pals.

Peggy in game DNM E+
Peggy is a cheerful-looking pink pig. She has short auburn hair with bangs on the sides of her cheeks close to a big wide smile. Her facial features include a pink blush, and wide, blue eyes with two big black eyelashes that look like mascara. Her droopy ears have matching blue inside of them. Her initial shirt is the Blue Stripe shirt.

Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.
Peppy villagers appear to be in a good mood often, and are easy to become friends with. As a peppy villager, Peggy will have the tendency to over-react in conversations about trivial subjects, and will usually be over-excited to see the player or other villagers. This villager, like other peppy villagers, will rarely be discouraged from doing anything, including the usual hobbies. Peppy villagers dream of becoming famous in the future and read Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty, normal, and other peppy villagers in the Animal Crossing Series. Peppy villagers will also have a very short attention span, which means they soon forget some arguments or tasks given to the player which were not completed. Peggy may easily get upset in conversation when wrong things are said. She will get along well with other villagers, particularly the lazy, normal, jock, uchi, other peppy villagers, but she may annoy and upset cranky and snooty villagers, whose personalities differ. Due to the nature of peppy villagers, she may mention how "old" or "boring" cranky villagers are compared to her opposing, upbeat personality.

In Animal Forest e+, Peggy's house has the same furniture styling Gabi's house, only that she has used the Tartan Wall and the Ceramic Tile as her choice of flooring and wallpaper. Two Days Ago is played on a Turntable to fit the relaxed feel of her house with many pieces of furniture from the Cabana Series, such as a Cabana Screen and two Cabana Chairs. She has potted plants in every corner of her home and an ebony piano near the left corner.

In City Folk, Peggy's house has a beach themed with various furniture from the Cabana Series, such as the Cabana Lamp and the Cabana Screen. K.K. Bossa is played on a Turntable to fit the relaxed feel of her house, supported with a piano and hammock. Her choice of flooring and wallpaper are the Tropical Vista and the Tropical Floor, which can only be obtained from Saharah.
