A player standing on the pier

The pier is a preexisting structure on the deserted island in New Horizons that juts out into the ocean. It is always located on either the eastern or western coast of the island, and it is the only place on the island where the blue marlin, giant trevally, mahi-mahi, and tuna can appear and be caught by the player.

Notes

  • Although pier-exclusive fish cannot be caught at the similar pier at the island's airport, the wooden jetty found on mystery tour islands does count as a pier and can be used to catch pier fish.
  • The pier's length is variable, and can range from 10 to 14 planks long, excluding stairs.
