“I want to be the kind of guy who’s perfect in every way and universally beloved, but it’s actually kinda hard!”
― Pietro, New Horizons
Pietro (ジュペッティ,Jupetti?, Juppetti) is a smugsheepvillager in the Animal Crossing series. His name is Italian and may be a play on Piero (ピエロ), the Japanese loanword for clown, or the french Pierrot. He has the music hobby.
Pietro is a colorful sheep that resembles a stereotypical clown. He has a distinctive large red nose and thick red lips, as well as horns that are striped with alternating shades of aqua and baby blue. His face is white, and his eyes are small and black. He has a pink heart around his left eye, and a blue tear underneath his right eye. His hooves are pink and red. Pietro initially wears the Dawn Tee, and he holds a Modern Umbrella when it rains. In New Horizons, he wears a jester costume. In New Horizons, the coloration on his wool is slightly different than in New Leaf.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the smug personality. For more information, click here.
Smug villagers are very polite, kind, and gentleman-like. As a smug villager, Pietro will get along easily with other villagers. Smug villagers get along well with most villagers, their personality appearing to be a mix of the other personality types. As a smug villager he will stroke his ego from time to time, going on about how cool he is.
Generally, Pietro will get along with lazy, normal, snooty and peppy villagers, and may conflict with cranky villagers.
House
In New Leaf, Pietro's house is very colorful and has a resemblance to an amusement park. The illusion walls and flooring may be a reference to the infamous "Hall of Mirrors" found in most circus sets. He also owns many items from the Balloon series, such as the bed, the table, and two lamps. He also owns two rocking horses and a colorful wheel. Pietro's Dice Stereo plays K.K. Parade.
Pietro's house retains its quirky theme in New Horizons. His illusion wallpaper and flooring have been replaced with the Sky Wall and Cloud Flooring. He has the Colorful Numbers and Black & Red variations of the Colorful wheel along his back wall, along with his jukebox, which will play K.K. Parade. He has two Springy Ride-Ons in Yellow and Pink, and two Crescent-moon chairs in Yellow. His Cotton-Candy Stall will be swapped out with a workbench if he is crafting a DIY.
